Combined Accounts

Took a big step in married life yesterday, and created a combined checking account for both Heather and I. I'm guessing we will put in money that we make on that account and that will cover all the mortgage and house bills, etc. But this money thing is really a little more complicated than I thought. I mean, how much do we put in there, and how much do we put in our individual accounts (cuz Heather will be making way more 'cheese' than I will)? What about credit cards...she doesn't have any, so she'll be going under my credit cards. That's fine, but I'll be paying the bills...so I guess I'm going to have to divide the amounts that we spend with our personal checking accounts. So a couple of tricky things there that I never really thought about.

Going running tonight. I need it. Peachtree Road Race is less than two calendar weeks away, and I'm not in the shape that I want to be. Hopefully getting a good 3.5 mile run today in some heat will help.
